What to Expect at Your First Visit
Health Consultation
Your initial appointment with the pain relief experts of Preferred Spine & Rehab will help us get acquainted with you and determine the source of your pain or ailment. Once you've filled out and completed our new patient intake form, your consultation with the doctor will begin. Privately, your doctor will conduct a verbal interview where you will discuss past or current injuries, pain, and health concerns.
Physical Examination
Following your consultation is a physical examination. The doctor will test your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend, as well other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical criteria. Nothing will be performed in our office without your approval. After the examination, x-rays may be recommended to help determine the most effective treatment plan for you. Most people can immediately recognize their misalignments and degenerations themselves after viewing their own x-rays.
Diagnosis & Treatment
After the doctor has had a chance to merge the information gathered from the consultation and examination, you will receive a diagnosis. From here, you will work one-on-one with your doctor to create a custom wellness plan. Your wellness plan will likely combine chiropractic treatment or physical therapy, lifestyle changes, and other preventive health measures that you can take to not only improve your condition but your overall health.
